Nina wakes up in an unfamiliar room with no memory of who she is or how she got there. Confused, alone and powerless, she only has the regular visits of a man named Malcolm to fill in the blanks.

When her mother finds her, she thinks she’s found an ally, but as her grasp of reality starts slipping, nothing is as it seems.

Trigger warning: Plaything includes themes of  implied sexual violence and isolation.

Plaything was originally planned in April 2020, but due to the pandemic was cancelled and will be reopening for auditions in August 2021. We have a contingency plan in place if another pandemic wave hits before the shows in November 2021. If you want to help out backstage, please go here.
